Posted on Wednesday, 27 August 2014 14:21 by .

On a Herald Sun shift today and tasked with getting a pic of Anthony Mundine and Mick Gatto at the announcement of The Man's next fight.

Thankfully both Anthony and Mick were very accomodating and we get this shot back stage.

How to take a picture of four sets of twins born in the same week at the same hospital?

Get a nurse in the middle and the babies all around her.

Nurse Seona Emanuelli with twins Skye and Jade, Phoenix and Lennox, Chloe and Wesley, and Christina and Rose at St Vincent's Private Hospital.

Got sent to take a pic of the lads from international hit show 'Boys in the Band' which is touring Victoria at the moment.

Thankfully the boys were good sports and we got this shot of them hanging off the Tram Bar out front of the Melbourne Arts Centre.

Headed out to the Werribee Open Range Zoo today to photograph a story for the Herald Sun about two young lads raising money to save wild gorillas.

Was always going to be difficult to get a shot of the boys with a gorilla.

Thankfully the zoo staff had smeared peanut butter on the viewing windows of the gorilla enclosure and I got this shot.

Urban reward

It's not everyday one of the world's biggest music stars gives you his guitar.

Last night Keith Urban entered the crowd, belted out two tunes then randomly signed his guitar and gave it to a young fan standing beside him at the Rod Laver Arena.

The lucky recipient was Wesley College year 8 student Markella Kavenagh, 13.

Shot this out front of the prestigous private school's administration building.

Following the Old Ghan

Another month another trip to the outback.

This week I'm on the road with 15 mates, driving two ex-military Volvo trucks from Adelaide to Alice Springs.

We're following the Oodnadatta Track to its namesake, then branching off to follow the Old Ghan Railway through the desert to the Alice.

This shot was take at sunset on the big red sand dunes at Bundooma siding, north of Finke community, Northern Territory.

A ram in the mall

It's not everyday you get to do a photo shoot on Bourke Street.

Especially one with a beautiful model and a handsome ram.

Model Ellie Coker (London Management) was a great sport. And so too was merino ram Fred.

Shot this for the Mx newspaper for a story about Australian Wool Week.

I might be thousands of kilometres from my family this birthday, but a few hours in the air with Wrotham Park manager Jock Warriner made up for it.

Shot this pic hanging from an R22 above the weaner yards as we came into land at the homestead just before sunset.

Up on the Cape

Up on Cape York this week at Wrotham Park Station.

A great bunch of people out here, including this young fella, Jack Jones.

Shot this pic after Jack and the weaner camp crew had spent the day processing two road trains worth of cattle.

Hot and dusty work, but the ringers love it.

Bring on the heat. Great to be back out bush. This time outback Queensland and South Australia

Just drove from Cunnamulla to Innamincka and now spending a few days on Nappa Merrie Station, home of the famous Burke and Wills dig tree.

Shot this pic just before sunrise before the mustering team headed out for the day.
