Whenever there's exreme weather the Herald Sun is always looking for fun weather pics.

I shot these threee Italian girls at St Kilda nearly getting blown away by a hot northerly that was creating harvoc on the beach.

One foot after the other

Had thirty minutes with Dane Swan in the Herald Sun studio.

He was promoting his favourite Melbourne T20 big bash team.

When we finsihed the shoot I asked him how he goes walking down the street, with everyone wanting his autograph.

"Normally, I just put one foot after the other," he replied.

Backyard zoo

Rob Curtin started out making cement gnomes.

Somewhere along the way he started on fibreglass.

His creations are now shipped around the world from his Trentham store, Two Fat Wombats, in rural Victoria.

Hairy Soul Man

In my dictionary there are two definitions for legend:

(1) A bloke who wears a massive hairy coat for his photoshoot; and

(2) A bloke who brings a regal throne to his photoshoot on top of his little hatchback.

The legend is the Hairy Soul Man, aka Melbourne musician Kai Smythe.
